Default Progress On My Coal Mine Diorama

It was hard to decide where to put this. I thought about Scratch-bashing, weathering, N-scale...In the end I put it in diorama even though it will end up in a layout (when I get around to building it.)

Here's the progress I've made on my coal mine. It is one of two scenes that will be on my N-scale office layout. I have another weekend or so to go.

That is definitely too nice not to go into a proper layout. Well done.

Thanks guys.

It goes in an office layout I'm building into my bookshelf. I wanted to complete the "scenes" first so the actual layout is not "under construction" for a long time as this is where I earn my living. I'll build the bridge scene next. Then I'll build the track-work and get it working. And then I'll build the shelving unit and set it up. Then I'll bring in the track-work, drop in the dioramas, and landscape the rest of the layout.

The ultimate railfan layout. No industries--no turnouts (except staging) A real departure for me. I'm at heart an ops man.

Thats nice that is.

Always nice to place a diorama or module into a larger layout later on.
