I haven't had much success with Christmas themed competition entries, so I'll just post a very recent photo that I call -

Winter on the Santa Fe

I look forward to all of your entries.

Crandell

Edit - decided to brighten the image and reduce contrast a bit...seems better now on my monitor. Photobucket's rendering isn't like what I see when I am working on them.

Nice Crandell! Very nice!

It's a cold but green Christmas on the Seneca Lake, Ontario, and Western, but that hasn't changed the warmth of the good people in Hopewell Junction. The RR has kept the old freight house open on Christmas eve as a couple of folks have yet to pick up their packages on time. The lantern was left on just for you!

This was taken using only the night lighting on the SLOW and the lights at the freight house. It is kitbashed from an old Pocher Overland Coach given to me by my FIL over 40 years ago. The lantern is scratch built.

Best wishes for a wonderful Holiday season to all of you!

Wuups!! On second thought, yeah, I should have waited until you actually launched the thread. Sorry, TC.

Brrr, Ray, it looks like a cold night illuminated by a nifty (and handy) lantern. Nice photo.

Owlers Lane, OO scale, may appear to be a small diorama but is part of a larger layout.

Nice work. It really does draw you in. Just like a real, warm building at night.
