Winter Competition

For the winter competition, the theme over the next two months will be Dusk to Dawn, based on Kaustav's suggestion.

The theme is up to you to interpret as you see fit. But if you are stuck, here are a couple of suggestions:


Model:

• Does your railway have some spectacular lighting?
• Shots of the layout lit up in the dark?

Prototype:

• What happens on the railways when the sun goes down?
• Are there any overnight services that you have photographed?
• Any Stations/Works/Railway Buildings lit up in the dark?

The competition will run until February 4th 2012

Well, for one thing, we haven't had winter here yet.

I know some places haven't had winter yet, but the theme didn't really require it to be - just that it was evening/night/morning. I can create a vote if people want, but with so few entries, I am not sure it serves much purpose.

I will say a big thanks to those three that did enter, they were great pictures!
