Default Lisbon 2013

Just returned from the maiden voyage of Royal Princess where Mrs Piermaster and I celebrated our silver wedding on board. We sailed from Southampton to Barcelona via Vigo, Lisbon, Gibraltar, and Malaga.

Of railway interest was of course, Lisbon's trams:

Royal Princess at Vigo.

Elevador da Santa Justa, yes it is a lift and dates from 1902.

Inside one of the two 'Remodelado' trams chartered for a 2-hours long sightseeing tour.

Remodelado Car 582 was the second of our two sightseeing trams.

Another Remodelado on our travels.

Elevador da Bica, one of three funiculars in Lisbon.

As we sailed under the 25th April Bridge, a CP emu rattled over us on the lower deck.

Whilst in Gibraltar two 'armchair modellers' made themselves known!!

New Walmington Pier
It sticks out by half a mile.
