Just PM Qube and ask why. You should be able to do this.
No you shouldn't be allowed

Attachments were disabled the day we changed over to the VBulletin forum. The main reason was to help keep members images in one area and easily accessible.

For example. A member wants to see other images posted by B17 Fortress. If we were to use attachments, that member would have to search for all posts by B17 and plough through each one looking for images. Quite a boring task

But as B17 uses our image hosting facility, a member can view all his images in one place (currently 294 of them).

That's one of the reasons attachments are not needed and are disabled

Qube, thanks for the reply, although I'm not quite sure I understand.

Do you mean that attachments are disabled for everyone, not just me?

Also, do you mean that the only pics we can show are the ones hosted here? We can't import an image from say, Photobucket?

Thanks,
Doc

Hi Doc,

Yes, attachments are disabled for everyone as they're not needed

Sure, photobucket and the likes are still perfectly usable and to use that you simply click on the "insert image" icon and enter the URL of where the image is.

Nope. I just dont get it. The Image hosting thing only lets me import from my hard drive, not from my face book or Flickr site, then it says my pics are too big anyway.
I hate technology, except steam trains of course.

Good evening, I attempted to post some images this evening and when I added them to my post and previewed the message all I could see was a small red 'X' in a box where my image should be.

In addition to this I looked at some images I posted yesterday in a message and they too have only a red 'X'. This wasn't an issue yesterday.
Have I exeeded the limits of something?

Well, I just got in here and was able to see my images I posted a couple of days ago.
Maybe I wasn't holding my mouth right.
