Default My daughter's first railway.

You've got to start young, so for my daughters second birthday, a friend bought a first 'train set' for her. We bought some additional track and trucks. Here she is, happily making 'Choo Choo' sounds. ( She may have had some help with the track plan ).

Love it! And of course you buy her additional track and trucks - you can't have too much.

I suggest that you and your Daughter go shopping together and leave Lynne at home, you may be gone all day.!!!!

Very nice! Have fun! Maybe you can convince Lynne to become a railfan as well!

Lynne likes to see the models I create, but I'm not sure she'll ever be a railroad modeller herself! Her life is too busy with her own activities!

Oh! no no no Steve! we KNOW that she did have some help with the track plan! :P

Looking very good! Actually these are very nice trains to start your journey in the hobby... she looks genuinely happy, and we are happy to see that your legacy will be long lived!

My grandson (now 11 YO) started the same way, even if now he prefers football ... well that's life!
