whoah its been a heck of a long time since i was last on here!
i've finished the track and need to know a few things:did the Southern ever build a railway into the isle of Portland?

that is the layout in its entirity, with the track plan clearly visible

that is the nice flowing pointwork up on the ( as yet nonexistent) factory end. building to start soon...

Nice work Dan. For first whitemetal kit assembly you've done well and it has nice clean lines. Did you use solder or glue? My first whitemetal kit (very many years ago) was a GWR Bulldog and was an unmitigated disaster.
Just looking a it you might want to take the roof off again and try a bit of re-adjustement so it sits on squarely - don't be afraid to attack the underside of the roof with a file if its resisting. Also you can fill any remaining holes with a bit of filler or modelling putty, before washing and spraying with primer.
