I was involved in a thread in the beginers On30 Topic and it was suggested I started a new thread and added some more pictures.

If you would like to see more please visit the website

www.rjroriginals.co.uk/rjr_branch_line.htm

I started in the spring and didint really have a end plan in mind other than get from one end of the garden to the other, I also had a restriction of 10" out from the wall !! (by the non railway family members)

Because the plan is fluid suggestions or ideas of things to add would be appreciated,

I like the idea of a garden railroad on a shelf, the only ones I have ever seen were on the ground on a special roadbed made and needed to keep tracks safe. This one looks kind of cute in a way. Hmm, I do have a back garden.

Its got the local Squirels baffled !

Return Loop Diameter is 36inch (ie 18" radius curves) which is fine as the picture shows my longest cars/diesel and the biggest steamer I have is a Bachman 2-6-0. All handle it no problem, despite breaking all the rules 18" radius on an incline of 1" round 3/4 of the loop and a spur coming of at the back !
