Thanks Alex. I had seen his site before. Very nice work!

I posed a question down in scenery...and I will post some more pictures there.* Here is progress for today.

I decided to carve all the rocks out of the foam. Plaster is messy, and I don't have a whole bunch laying around that I want to get all over my desk. (I have started a new trend in my basement...cleaning it every day! )

This is my first attempt at carving foam....be gentle!

So, does it look like limestone?*

I might work at it a bit more tonight. Depends on what else I have to do.

Thanks!

I am working on a thread for the scenery forum that explains what I did, as long as I can get railimages to work!

EDIT: I uploaded the coloring pictures at the above link.

Hey Rich, that looks preety awesome
Instead of a tunnel i could think of a snow thingy (can't think of the right name now) open to the onlooker side 1 , whistle stop side 2 and watertower side 3 (in your case you could fill it with thinner to get the real feel)

There hasn't been much progress in the past couple of days.

I did some more painting on the rocks and streambed, and I tested some waterfall materials.

Tonight I picked up some wood to scratch a trestle. I will probably work on that this weekend, if I get the chance.

I will keep progress posted.

You're going to make trees as pines or dry old bushes as optical dividers?
