That's a beautiful engine Gerd and running it sure looks fun!

And to Paul(Shamus) going through N, H0, O and now G scale, might this be Your next step?

Hello railroaders,

thank you very much. Here's another photo of the engine, without engineers on top.

Next steps to do are :
- a new headlight
- nameplates
- smokebox number plate
- new locking system for smokeboxdor
- details
- new handpump
- new watertank design for riding car
- hiding the water pipes on the car
- and some other things.

I hope I can start with the first jobs this week, to get the loco completely finished this month. When this is done, I've to build a large number of new rolling stock.

She's alive !!!!!!!!!!

Last Sunday, Forney "Christine" was out for her first operation day after the last big maintenance and rebuild.

Now, the loco is equiped with an injector to feed water to the boiler as an addition to the axle driven pumpe and hand pump.

The loco run's very well and only small changes are neededto get her finally finished.

Here are some photos of the maiden run.

Regards, Gerd

That's a nice little (or rather large) place to run the train. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Oh, thats sweet. "Christine" was the name of a Devil Car in the movies, I'm sure she ain't one of them. Looks more like an Angel to me.
