I don't know that this qualifies as "superdetailed," but it's got several nicely detailed components in the kit. (I posted a couple of progress photos of this a few weeks ago.)

Anyway, I just finished this water tower kit a couple of evening ago. It's from Rusty Stumps Scale Models and is HO scale. (I think there is now an O scale version available.) The tank is supposed to be open-top with poured water inside, but I decided to build a cover for it. I'm not totally happy with the cover and may remove it when the model gets placed on my layout.

For the time being, however, the water tower will go on my "Orphans' Shelf" because the layout area where it will be located is not finished yet.

Very nice water tank Mike, lots of great details. Hmmm, I might just scratchbuild one like that for my 0n30 in the bear future as I need one so my lokeey's can take a drink.

Mike, I think the top on the water tank looks excellent, makes for an interesting scene. I wouldn't change a thing. Great job. Jim

I just finished this model, so....

It's another hot July day outside one of the OVT&L's shops.

Thanks, guys. I'm going to try to shoot a few additional photos of this model and hopefully get them posted sometime in the next few days.
