Default Fn3 "Columbia Pacific Railroad" ( the mining areas )

Been a couple of years since I've been on here,
On30 before,
moved up to Fn3/1:20.3
still doing a Pacific Northwest Cascades theme,
middle of a summer,
in the mid 1930's

It really is beautiful. Great attention to detail. One thing that really gives depth to the scene is how you drew attention away from the backscene with all the trees placed in front of it.

thanks RW James,
the foreground scenery really comes to life with that background depth,
the darkness makes it feel deep,
I try to do a better job each diorama I do,
experience makes it a lttle better each time.

Awesome stuff Randy. That painted backscene is so effective - had to do a double take to see it was 2D!

thanks for stopping by,

a playful shot on the new diorama;




the new diorama is called the "Spring Creek" area,
a few more miles down the "Columbia Pacific Railroad" story,
