Here are some examples of finished rolling stock. I've still troubles while applieing decals so I hope that a soft weathering will hide most of the disaster.
Coach #17 + Combine #11 ![]() Click on thumbs for large pictures. Boxcar #35 was rebuild with new positions of the ladders and new endbeams. The second boxcar #23 is "out of the box" style. ![]() Click on thumbs for large pictures. All Flatcars got their planks painted in dry brush technique to look like weatherd wood. This includes the gondola and tankcar too. ![]() Click on thumbs for large pictures. The caboose also got some paint on the platforms. ![]() Click on thumbs for large pictures. Still unfinished are two flatcars who will get pulpwood racks installed. The Forney loco will get a small back-date dress up at last. Will be continued =) Gerd

I have the same problem with decals - very frustrating.
One thing I've done that helps - I've sprayed the model first with glosscote. Then after everything sets, a couple of layers dullcote.

Hello all,
I'm sad to tell, but in preparation of a move, I've to tear down my On30-layout in a few month... It seems that I've no luck with On30 layout modeling so far. Maybe I should go back to a smaller scale and build modular layouts... Or I use the time and budget for my live steam Shay =) All rolling stock and tracks are going to my dad and he'll start an On30-modular layout in the basement of his house together with another railroad friend. Bye, Gerd
