Heres another garden diorama. Its 1910 and the french army are carrying out trials with the observation balloon;



Inflated by Hydrogen cylinders;



and the balloon slowly inflates to attach the gondola;

I like it, most original. good use of the football bladder. Are the Hydrogen cylinders old batteries or something else?

the cylinders are 5cm lengths of dowel and the valves are part of brass presstuds.
